Born to cook Barcelona

Our tour group went here and it was fantastic! The staff had appetizers and drinks ready to go when we arrived. Then our group worked together to prepare the ingredients and cook paella. Of course, we stayed to eat the finished product and it was delicious! The staff is incredibly attentive and instructive. I learned so much in the cooking class. This was one of the highlights of our entire tour!

What an INCREDIBLE experience to make DELICIOUS paella with such a fun teaching team, led by the owner Alex. I have been to several paella teaching courses in the US, but this one blew those ones out of the water. We were greeted with wine and three appetizers to enjoy before we went to work and made our paella. We got practical pro-tips throughout the entire process (the onion carmelization process, how to tell if the rice is done by pinching it etc). We also ended up "branding" our delicious desserts. I highly recommend Born to Cook to anyone interested in learning about cooking Spanish cuisine in Barcelona.

We did a team-building event with Born to Cook Barcelona, and it was such a great experience! Our international team had a lot of fun cooking Spanish and Catalan dishes together, we made two paellas, gazpacho, patatas bravas, and crema catalana. Everything turned out delicious, and the ingredients were really good quality.Robert, our chef, was amazing - super friendly, fun, and made everyone feel comfortable. We learned a lot but also laughed a ton.The space is big and perfect for groups. I’d definitely recommend this place for team events or just a fun cooking experience while in Barcelona!

My family of four had an amazing experience with Robert and Pilar at Born to Cook Barcelona! He was so good at explaining everything and he gave extra information outside of cooking about Barcelona and Catalonia. My kids are only 3 and 1 and he was involve them in so much of the experience. The food came out delicious!

INCREDIBLE! Ive done three events here already, my partners bday, a company event and, most recently, my friend´s 40th birthday. Every single time, folks have had a blast! Our company, JAGGAER, organized a business event with Born to Cook, and it was an absolutely amazing experience for everyone!They hosted our large group of around 40 people with such professionalism and warmth. The chefs guiding us were fantastic: engaging, fun, and incredibly skilled, making the whole cooking experience enjoyable and collaborative.It turned out to be one of the best team-bonding activities we’ve ever done: great energy, lots of laughter, and delicious meals that we prepared ourselves with the wonderful support of the Born to Cook team.We wholeheartedly recommend Born to Cook, and if we ever organize another event in Barcelona, this will definitely be our go-to place!

Had the pleasure of learning to cook Paella with the Swisslog group last week. Our hosts were expertly knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. Special shout out to Robert who looked after our team, I've been practising the onion cutting technique you showed us at home.
