Foto Boada

Great digital cameras, small & large, amazing knowledge on their cameras, bilingual (great for tourists), this is the spot for anything digital! Price included SD card, & a case, while also being competitive with the online counterpart, it’s hard to say anything bad, the service was amazing, overall this is my recommendation for Digi Cams.

Pros - The staff and the lab they work with (VM foto) are knowledgeable. - A big assortment of second hand cameras. - Right in the city centre. - Really cool local shop. - They are nice. Cons - Film is not stored in the fridge and the store gets really hot in spring and summer. - It's expensive. e.g. second hand sekonic photometres retail for almost the brand new price. - Their customer relationship is bizarre: I have seen them give someone on the phone a discount of around € 300 on a NIKKOR telephoto lens while not giving me any sort of compensation for a supposedly brand new € 200 accessory which was sold to me damaged without my knowledge (I guess they did not know either, but still). It's a useful shop whenever you need fixing a camera or if you are not on a budget. For everything else, there are better alternatives in Barcelona.
