Hair Cut Day Aragó Salón Peluquería Barcelona

One of the few salons in the city that are open early, Karen (the stylist) was friendly and willing to take walk ins. Took my mum here for a wash and dry in the morning. Blow dry was done well and not rushed. The salon was relatively clean, spacious, bright and offers a number of different products and services.

I came in to have my roots lightened and colored because my hair had grown out. I’ve been highlighting and coloring my hair for years, and it has always stayed healthy and strong, until now. Without asking me, they assigned my appointment to a junior stylist. He clearly struggled to get the color right and ended up coloring my hair five times (after bleaching it already)!!!! I kept expressing concern about the damage this could cause, but they repeatedly assured me it would be fine. Each attempt made things worse: my hair went from too blonde to red, and only after multiple tries did they finally achieve the right color. But by then, the damage was done. My hair is now completely broken and brittle all over. I have uneven, broken strands sticking out everywhere, and it feels incredibly thin. Every time I brush it, little pieces break off that’s how damaged it is. Even though it was obvious I wasn’t happy when I left, they still charged me the full 275€!! At first, I didn’t want to complain because I felt bad for the stylist and because the team generally seemed nice: But after a few days of seeing my hair in the mirror and realizing how severe the damage was, I decided to reach out. I sent them photos and explained what happened, but they didn’t seem to want to make amends. They refused a refund and only offered to "fix" it, which I absolutely don’t want, because firstly I don’t live in Barcelona and can’t go back, secondly I don’t trust them to touch my hair again and lastly there’s nothing to fix. My hair is already ruined; it will take years to grow back healthy again. I’m deeply disappointed, frustrated, and honestly angry that I trusted them with my hair and was still made to pay 275€ for this result. It’s unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend this salon. I’ve never had an experience like this before, and I truly hope no one else has to leave a salon with hair as damaged as mine. I have attached photos from my hair before where you can see it’s colored but healthy and the after where you can see how broken and damaged it is. This is the first time I’m writing a complain, but it’s just because I know how much hard work goes into having long healthy hair and I came to this salon because of the good reviews.

No me gusta dejar reseñas negativas, pero siento que lo que viví en Hair Cut Day lo merece. Era mi primera vez allí y fui con mucha ilusión, porque parecía una peluquería profesional. Les expliqué muy claro lo que quería: mantener mi raíz natural, solo difuminar el rubio de medios a puntas. Nada complicado. El chico que me atendió, Xavier, fue muy amable y me aseguró que lo entendía perfectamente. Me dio el precio: 179 €, que ya me parecía caro, pero confié en su profesionalidad y pedí cita para el día siguiente. El día de la cita todo parecía bien. Me puso el color, me lavó el producto y, antes de empezármelo a secar, me ofrecí a que me diera un poco de forma en la parte de delante. Cogió dos mechones y los cortó de golpe, dejándome dos mechones cortos por encima de la mejilla, sin integrarlos. Me quedé un poco en shock, pero decidí esperar al resultado final. Entonces empezó a secarme el pelo… y fue peor. Las puntas se veían verdes y la parte de arriba rojiza. Se lo dije, y él me insistió en que era "por la luz del salón", que allí siempre pasaba, y que estuviese tranquila porque esto se me iría aclarando . Yo estaba bloqueada, intentando creérmelo, pero por dentro sabía que estaba mal. A la hora de pagar, ya casi llorando, encima me vendió un champú de 25 €, dejando el total en 204 €. Salí temblando. Ese mismo día, desesperada, fui a otra peluquería de barrio porque encima mi pelo estaba como un poco elástico. La chica me dijo que no podía tocarlo en ese estado, ya que a parte era muy reciente y solo me me puedo dar un champú para intentar retirar el color en casa. Me lo puse varias veces, y aunque se fue retirando con los días, el pelo seguía verde y rojo. Mi hermano llamó el mismo día para reclamar y pedí la devolución del dinero, pero se negaron. La única solución que me ofrecieron fue volver al salón, aunque ya no tenía ninguna confianza. A mi pesar, volví unos días después para que me lo arreglaran. La encargada fue amable y me corrigió el color gratis, pero la única forma de taparlo fue dejarme el pelo muy oscuro, completamente distinto a lo que yo quería. Sí, me lo advirtieron, pero después de haber pagado 204 € y pasar por todo esto, no me parece justo. Una semana después de la corrección la encargada que me corrigió el color me contactó, pero yo le comenté que aun estando agradecida por su trabajo, no era en absoluto lo que yo quería. Y dejando de lado que fuese un buen y mal trabajo, yo no estaba (estoy) nada cómoda con este color de pelo. Han pasado tres semanas desde la primera vez que fui, y sigo teniendo el pelo con tonos muy rojizos arriba i verdosos abajo, ya que la corrección fue en baño de color. Me duele escribir esto, pero ha sido una experiencia frustrante, carísima, vergonzosa y muy poco profesional. Por no mencionar que me sentí muy engañada con los trabajadores que el mismo día vieron como salí de la peluquería pareciendo un semáforo. ¡Volveré a Barcelona solo para retocarme con Marta! Visité por primera vez el salón y tuve una experiencia muy bonita. Marta fue muy profesional, amable y atenta. Primero hicimos una consulta sobre mi cabello para entender las opciones que tenía disponibles. Marta me sugirió hacerme un balayage muy natural, y quedé encantada con el resultado. Fue mi primer balayage y me fascinó lo natural que quedó y lo sano que se ve mi cabello. Además, el servicio incluye una bebida y un snack. Por último, durante el tratamiento me aplicaron una mascarilla con masaje para los ojos, y Marta me regaló unas muestras de champú y acondicionador para probar en casa durante los días siguientes. La verdad es que son esos pequeños detalles los que marcan la diferencia.

Andreas is such a sweetheart with such good energy and talent. He gave me such an amazing haircut based on the inspiration pics I shared with him, and same with the baby lights as well. I love how well he took care of me and my hair - even though it was bleached, he made sure my hair did not lose its strength and I still had my coily curls after the process. He is so knowledgeable and experienced with hair, and I’m so happy he did mine! I would fly back to Barcelona just to get a haircut from him again. I made a reservation for a haircut and brushing, but also confirmed in advance that there would be time and availability for the master to do coloring. We got confirmation. I arrived on time at 9:00, but waited about 15 minutes before the master even spoke to me. I explained that I had never colored or done anything with my hair before and that I needed professional advice on what would suit me. We agreed that balayage would be the least harmful option, and I specifically asked for advice based on my skin tone because I have redness and pink undertones. I also asked to see the technique—what parts of my hair would be colored—and told her that I love my natural color and wanted it to remain visible. I clearly said I only wanted to go up to 4 tones lighter with a tint. We looked at examples, I approved the technique, not the color, because I said I want it no more than 4!!!!! tones lighter and she started. However, later on, when I made research I realized that I was BLEACHED and it was left on my hair for over an hour because she was attending to other clients at the same time. No body said to me that they would bleach my hair at any moment. After washing, I sat with wet hair for about 30 minutes—again just waiting while she worked on someone else. At that point, I refused the haircut and asked her to just dry my hair. To make things worse, no heat protector was applied when blow-drying or when curling with a hot iron, which is damaging. The result? A completely different look from what I asked for. My hair now looks yellow, the top part doesn’t match my natural color, and the overall vibe is not me at all. During my appointment, she was juggling three different clients. I didn’t feel cared for, there was no personalization, no meaningful consultation—just a copy-paste approach. Oh and by the way, she asked for my name for the first time only before drying my hair... So 3 hours later. I don't know her name as well, but from what I could grasp, she is the one that goes on vacation this Sunday... The execution itself was not balayage but just highlighting, photo attached when not curled, and there was zero effort to explore what would truly suit me. Simply suggesting to me that it is my fault because "It looks exactly like the picture" is absolutely not what I was looking for. I didn't come with a picture, I came to seek for an advise and discover the options. And now instead of enjoying my vacation, all I can think about is how I hate the way I look. Like literally right after walking outside of that place I crushed in tears for an hour in the middle of the street. On the photo from behind, where there is a different lighting, it does look good, but in real life you can see all colors, from yellow to green to absolutely white. ce, that it should not be yellow. Estuve el domingo 06.09 para que me hicieran un recogido o semi recogido para una boda y he salido encantada. Me ha atendido XAVIER y me ha hecho un peinado muy hermoso y ha sido muy amable en todo momento. Sin duda para una ocasión especial está muy bien.
