CURLY GIRLS BEWARE!I wasn’t even going to write a review but it’s been weeks and I’m still fuming. I booked a hair botox appointment after travelling an hour to show them my long, dense hair in person a month in advance so they could give me an accurate estimate.On the day of the appointment, I got there and they told me they did not have enough product to do the treatment which left me speechless. They offered to do a classic silk press instead (free of charge) which I appreciated until I realized that the person who was going to do it (Sito) does NOT know how to do curly hair. He repeatedly yanked at my hair while detangling it DRY, cut way too much of it when I asked for a TRIM and the owner (Jay) was literally giving him instructions on how to do Afro hair in real time. If you’re going to charge premium prices, make sure your personnel has premium skills. I’m not sure why they thought it was okay to treat me like a practice mannequin but if you value your texturized hair and money, do not go there. My assumption is that the positive reviews are from people with straighter textures.Honorable mentions:- Jay asked me what products I was using at home only to condescendingly reply "X brand? Oh why, you look like an intelligent woman…" and suggest a €55 hair mask from Sephora that we both knew was going to last me 2 uses with the amount of hair I have LOL- I had to ask Sito to adjust my cut twice after noticing it was uneven- The shampoo was not rinsed properly so I came home with a dry patch on my scalp (see lovely pic)Anyway, I went to another salon, got it done for half the price, and my hair’s never been shinier.

It was my first time visiting this salon, and as anyone I was very skeptical at first. However they did not disappoint, super honest, talk you through every step of the way, and answer any questions or concerns. I had a cool blonde balayage done to hair that has been box dyed twice before and had so many different tones. Sito did an insane job smoothing everything out, bringing life and bounce back and giving me the color and health I wanted. Amazing hair cut, color and tone! Will definitely be coming back in a few months to retouch! Must I add everything is so clean and cozy! Thanks for the great hair and good vibes Jay and Sito!

I trust Jay with my hair for the last 3 years now and I never regreted that! He‘s super professional, explains the steps well and makes sure you feel comfortable in the salon. Both, Stella and Jay, are highly recommended professionals and the salon looks beautiful! Super happy with my blonded up hair and I would never trust anyone else with it!

Jay has been my hair stylist for the last 3 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my hair. He is great at what he does, understands me perfectly and can pull off anything I ask, and I like changes a lot!Plus, the place has a chill ambience and is nicely decorated, the choice of music is great and they always offer you a drink, which is awesome too 🙂10/10 recommended

I went to Jay Walker for the first time, the cozy atmosphere and the welcoming attitude of Jay and Sito instantly made me feel at ease. I had a haircut by Sito and it was beautifully done. He understood my needs and the result was beyond my expectations. He also shared lots of tips and advices to make me understand better how to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. It’s always a pleasure to share quality time while receiving best treatment. It’s been three years I’m trusting Jays magic. I am more than satisfied with the result and the full experience.

Clienta desde 2022 cada vez ha ido empeorando trato y precio… no es cierto q el corte jay walker incluya peinado …. Desde hace un año te cobran suplemento de 20 euros a los 55 del corte. Igual que el hacer la raíz te cobran también suplemento de peinado cuando en la página web pone que va incluido. Te haces raíz y corte? Pues te cobra 55 corte, 55 de la raíz y 20 de peinar … cuando os puedo asegurar q antes no era así. Me hizo balage 230 euros y me estropeó el pelo… según decía la culpa era pq hacía mucho calor …. Si es un profesional debería avisar q si te haces balage y hace calor el pelo se pone naranja y feo…Me llamó y me ofreció un "solo matiz" el resultado el pelo más oscuro q nunca y ni me seco el pelo …. Sigo con el pelo oscuro y he tenido q ir a cortármelo porque la mecha estropeó mucho mi pelo. Nunca me quejé de precio porque estaba contentan con el resultado, pero creo q debería cambiar la web y especificar los precios reales. No volveré, se ha sobredimensionado y no compensa. Además creo q no le interesa q vaya porque el trato conmigo cambió mucho.
