Palacio Arriluce Hotel en Getxo - Bilbao

Un hôtel 5 étoiles magnifiquement rénové. Les chambres sont confortables et très bien insonorisées. Le personnel est vraiment à l’écoute et de très bon conseil pour organiser la visite de Bilbao. Nous avons pu bénéficier d’invitation de la part de l’hôtel pour visiter le musée Guggenheim. Petit plus, l’hôtel a une station de recharge pour voiture électrique.

He recibido invitación, para disfrutar de uno de los variados servicios que ofrece el Palacio Arriluce.Qué pena que en la foto no se aprecie, la calidad de la cartulina empleada para el sobre y tarjetón. Al menos se ve su precioso diseño: el dibujo casa perfecto y la mezcla de colores es muy elegante.Con semejante presentación, una empieza a gozar de la experiencia, incluso antes de vivirla.Qué delicia la mera existencia de sitios, donde hasta el último detalle está cuidado al máximo.Merece la pena de vez en cuando, regalar o regalarse algo que te haga sentir VIP, pero sin dejar de ser tú. O sea, doblemente bueno. Como las características de este Hotel, que podríamos enumerar a pares: tradición-modernidad, lujo-sereno, Reina-Ana, gótico-victoriano.Pues servidora, aunque de regia sólo el nombre tenga, visita urgente a sus instalaciones recomienda.

Wonderful hotel with a great view over the inlet and out to the Bay of Biscay. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast selection. ||However evening service at the bar in the evening and lack of thoroughness of cleaning suck loads of blonde hairs from the maid service on the floor, means the floor wasn’t being cleaned, let the hotel down. Bar food menu was limited and food was quite greasy and a lot of deep fried options (something with more fresh vegetables would be good). ||Would stay here again and would recommend this spot as Getxo is a wonderful respite from the built up aspect of Central Bilbao. ||Near to Neguri metro station which costs under €2.50 per person to travel (one way) to Mayua (Guggenheim) station.

Belle expérience et surtout accès facile par le métro au centre ville. L'hôtel vous remet une carte de métro avec qq voyages gratuits (2 a/r au centre ville) et se recharge facilement sur le quai du métro. Personnel de l'hôtel très agréable et les soins au spa très bons. J'espère pouvoir y retourner au printemps prochain pour profiter de la piscine extérieure et voir des parties de crocket.

My son stayed a week. I Stayed 4 nights. Despite requesting the reservations for a "quiet room" they gave us a room facing the driveway of the hotel. The request was made via email, then confirmed via phone call.The mattresses are so soft on the beds that you literally sink into them. if you have back issues beware. I had severe pains by day 3.Premises are nice but service is below average.

Not a bad word to say about this hotel. Beautiful restoration of a historic palace overlooking the bay in Getxo. Not located in the middle of Bilbao, but you won't miss that. Super easy train to Guggenheim and plenty of free on site parking. |All of the common areas of this place are gorgeous, the dining areas, lounges, spa and gardens--nothing is overlooked. Our room was off by itself so we didn't stay in the old part of the house, but will request that on our next visit. We had a lovely seating area, a huge bed, plenty of places to put our things. One small detail that a little off was the tub/shower in our room--it was sort of dark and slippery. But I did request a tub and didn't end up using this one because it was a little lacking. |But we did book the water spa in the Spa--we had the whole place to ourselves for a full hour and it was PERFECT!! Loved every bit of that place. |Breakfast every day was served on the terrace overlooking the harbour. The food was very good. We spent time at the lovely pool in the late afternoons where we had a drink and a snack and chilled and that was also great. |Would highly recommend this hotel! Oh, and the staff are all GREAT!! Everyone was super well trained and very professional. I wish every hotel was run like this one. Kudos to the managment!

This is a wonderful hotel. As it turned out, when checking in, it papered that I had inadvertently booked my stay via a site which charges a high commission that was not clearly disclosed upfront (to avoid confusion: this was not the hotel's site or Booking). The reception staff (especially Ana and Ainana) were very kind and offered us a room with sea view + free spa as a compensation even though they had not involvement in it. Rooms are luxurious and we very much enjoyed having dinner at the terrace.
