La Van Mallorca - Catering and Event Services

We found La Van through an online search, and from our first conversation with Max, we knew it was the right fit.When you first speak with him, he will present you with the company and explain how they do business, and everything is exactly like he says. That is the thing I like the most.Even though everything was remote, Max and his team were really approachable and flexible during the preparation process. In fact, it was so approachable that Max even offered to come to us and drive us to see the venue, so he could see it firsthand and also help us with the owners, since his Spanish is much better than ours. To better explain, at that time we were staying in Palma and the venue is some 60 kilometres from Palma, so to go there and back is at least 120 kilometres and 2 hours of his personal time. He did not need to do that, but he is so engaged in what he does that it wasn't a problem for him.Prices are more than reasonable for the top-notch service you receive, and the food is by far the best.At some point throughout the event, it started raining, and the team was able to change the seating from an open space under the covered terrace so quickly that practically no one noticed. I think that says a lot about their approach and professionalism.And to conclude, I have never been to an event where literally every person that was present told congratulations to the catering service, to the food and everything they did. Usually, there is always something missing, and it is really difficult to satisfy everyone's needs, but they were able to do so.Fantastic service and a group of incredible professionals.Thank you, Max and the whole La Van team, I wish you all the best in the times ahead.

We just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU to you and your entire team for everything you did over the wedding and the pool party on Sunday.All of the guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had and we completely second that!My girlfriend mentioned how you also changed her meal at the last minute because she realised she hadn’t updated her original choice since becoming pregnant. She wanted to say that was incredible service from you guys and very kind and to send special thanks for being so accommodating.The waiting staff made sure that no one’s glass was ever empty throughout the cocktail hour and dinner, they were all so friendly, happy and just helped create the atmosphere we were hoping for.And then the pool party food… oh my god it was so delicious!!!You guys really were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish and if we could do it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing.Thank you again and we wish you a fabulous remainder of the summer for you and your fantastic La Van team!!

We had such an amazing experience with max and his team for our wedding.The food was amazing and staff was so helpful and nice. Also they were super adaptable and we manage everything we wanted.Table set up was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the wines and cocktails were great.We got so many compliments from our guests.Also the experience before was amazing, we love the tasting experience and how communication was easy.Highly recommended !!!

After deciding to get married in Mallorca at Son Sampol in May 2025, we wanted to find the perfect caterer for our big day - I am so happy that we found La Van and I cannot put into words how amazing they were!During our planning, Max and the team were brilliant to work with. They were professional, responsive and collaborative in how we agreed a menu together, making suggestions while keeping our vision front and centre. They placed a real emphasis on the overall experience and "feel" of the day, looking to create an atmosphere of fun and joy facilitated by amazing food and drink.On the day itself, everything was perfect. The food was delicious, fresh and a true reflection of Mediterranean cuisine. The canapes were incredible, with a great variety and brilliant service. We also used a grazing table of meats and cheese which not only tasted great but served as a beautiful part of the decoration.The dinner service was a continuing array of fresh and local food, with plenty of vibrant salads, fresh bbq'ed fish and meats and side dishes. Our glasses were never empty and the service and staff did a brilliant job.I can't recommend Max and the team enough. We had the best of days, our guests couldn't stop talking about the food, and we absolutely loved it! Simply put, Max and the team at La Van are incredible!!After struggling to find the perfect food for our wedding at Finca Son Sampol in Mallorca, we came across Max, and everything we had hoped for in our wedding catering - fresh, vibrant, and delicious.From start to finish, Max and his team were brilliant. Easy to communicate with, full of great ideas and always open to hearing ours.After our first tasting, we were blown away and so excited for what was to come!On the wedding day, the team did everything and beyond to create beautiful food and, what's more, a beautiful atmosphere.The food itself was by far the best I've ever had at a wedding! The flavours of the grilled Sea Bass, (giant!) prawns, chicken and vegetables were phenomenal. The salads, breads, dips and appetisers were also beyond delicious.I also have to add how amazing the cocktails and drinks were!The service was impeccable. Never an empty wine glass, a lovely flow of food and courses. It made for a really special dinner and such a big part of our day.The guests we spoke to also said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. They loved every bite.At the end of the wedding and after all our guests had gone, Max made us some extra quesadillas. This is just one example of the kindness and thought Max puts into La Van.Take me back so I can eat all of the food again!If you are considering La Van for your wedding or event, DO IT! You'll be as amazed as we were.

This review is only 5 stars because 6 is not an option.I am a professional wedding planner in the US, and was also a 2024 bride who spent 2 years planning my own wedding in Mallorca. La Van was our first (and certainly most valuable) wedding vendor hire. Max went above-and-beyond expectation in literally every way. From day one, he helped us to choose a venue from half a world away. His team also supported with vendor referrals (all wonderful references, by the way), decor and lighting needs, of course the food and bar (delightful!), but most impressively - Max became our lifelong friend along the way. We received his full attention and patience, even in matters well beyond the scope of his role. While planning a wedding across an ocean is challenging, we walked into the wedding day with great peace knowing it was in Max & his team's hands.As to the catering service itself, we hired La Van for both the wedding dinner (a plated, luxury style meal) and the day-after pool party (brunch faire served at leisure). Now months later, our guests STILL have not stopped raving about the food! We travelled throughout Europe for weeks after the wedding, and our meals by La Van could not be beat. Max worked with us in a high level of customization on the menu, and his expertise shone through at every step. The service itself, too, was top-notch. Max's team did not let a single wine glass go empty through the evening. They anticipated our needs with a premier level of service in which all of our guests could not want for anything more.Overall, I cannot sing enough praises for La Van. The team there is truly a rare gem, and we are excited to see them surely make many more happy clients and friends to come! We feel so lucky to have met Max and his dream team, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

To say La Van Mallorca was amazing, would be an understatement. I had my wedding on May 28th this year and I am still dreaming of the night. Our catering service was great. Our guests absolutely loved the food, the presentation was wonderful and the service was just as impeccable as I imagined it would be. I planned my wedding from the states and for about a year had been working with Max to get everything organized. I didn't even meet Max until the day before the wedding. He was amazing to work with. Super helpful, knowledgable and willing to please. He hosted a tasting with my father the month before and my father said the experience was lovely, he was treated with high importance and the quality of the service and food showed! I HIGHLY recommend working with La Van Mallorca for all your catering needs, they truly are the best!
